Meet the Container Consultants

Sebastian Mendoza

His many years of experience in the shipping industry were spent working for several international shipping companies including P&O Nedlloyd, Maersk Line and China Ocean Shipping Co. His nautical career includes a first officer certification and he spent the years between 1996 and 2001 working as Officer in Command on board container vessels. Since 2006 he has been involved in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship as part of the City of Knowledge of Panama. In 2008 he was honoured by the Panamanian Government and awarded the annual prize for business innovation. InfoDev, a financing program of the World Bank, also named him as one of the winners of their prestigious Global Innovator Contest in 2009.

Celso Garcia

With more than 25 years in shipping, Celso has developed his expertise in the sales and marketing/trade areas. That includes managing and optimizing vessel allocation and the coastal distribution of slots by maintaining a strong follow up with offices as well as with the Trade departments. He has been responsible for the customer conversion for two of the most important shipping e-commerce platforms used by most of the ocean carriers. He also contributed to improve the communication channels with local Operations, local Pricing Desks and Foreign Trades. Celso developed his skills as speaker to foreign trade related themes - activity that he still maintain active.

Jonatan Altszul

Jonatan is the co-founder of Core Security Technologies. Core Security Technologies develops strategic security solutions for Fortune 1000 corporations, government agencies and military organizations. The company, founded in Buenos Aires and now headquartered in Boston, offers information security software and services designed to assess risk and protect and manage information assets. Prior to founding Core, Mr. Altszul was a member of the Special Projects Group at the Argentine tax agency. This elite group evaluated and developed critical hardware and software security products for the agency in projects with budgets of up to $500MM. His IT skills are impressive and key for first class shipping solutions.

Harm Jansen

Mr. Jansen managed the operational activities in South America, Central America and the Caribbean for the Anglo-Dutch container shipping company, P&O Nedlloyd. During his 30-years of experience in the shipping industry, he has witnessed slow adaption to technological change, in an atmosphere of increasing business volumes and competitive pressures. He has an in-depth knowledge of the industry and a desire to spearhead an improvement in freight transportation that will bring lasting benefits to international trade.

Constanza Nieto

Constanza has more than 20 years of experience as founder, CEO, consultant and business executive of private and public corporations, and government institutions in Latin America and in the USA. She has also served as a Chief Information officer (CIO), Chief Operations Officer (COO), and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at several government institutions and financial corporations. During her professional life she has been University professor and counselor, international lecturer, and member and president of Boards of Directors at several companies and organizations.

Jorge Morelos

He believes that the information related to container operations is extensive and detailed and can be organized and presented in an easily accessible format that will bring value and savings to the industry. His background and accomplishments in the IT sector provide him with a detailed knowledge of developing advanced information technology products. Mr Morelos brings with him a determination to succeed and is proud to be a part of a team that is committed to making a difference to the freight transportation. His experience involved tracking systems implementation for airline companies, including Delta Air Lines. He is a specialist in interface and multimedia applications.
